Before calling Technical Support,  please follow these steps.

  1. Check the on-line Help and/or manual thoroughly. (Happily, many solutions turn out to be in the on-line Help and/or manual).
  2. Have your program version and User ID number ready so the support staff can assist you more efficiently.
  3. Gather all information that applies to the problem. Note or print out any on screen messages you get when the problem occurs.
  4. Write down all the steps you have taken to solve the problem, along with any error messages your computer has given you.
  5. Be sure you know your hardware configuration, operating system version, memory, disk space, printer, etc.
  6. When you call, please be in front of your computer with the power on. Have on hand your product disks and related material.
